Próspera Builds Hiring Talent Bank Of 1,200 Honduran Professionals And Targets Over 100 Job Placements By End Of The Year

August 2, 2021

Honduras Próspera announced today that Próspera Employment Solutions www.pes.hn (PES), the company’s employment division, has screened, interviewed and registered more than 1,200 Honduran trained professionals who are available to be hired by Honduran and international companies that are PES clients.

PES has begun placing these Honduran professionals with client employers that include foreign companies such as: Ubiquo Labs, a Guatemalan company, and Stemmons Enterprise, Boxer Property Management, Relay Human Cloud and Expanse Online, based in the U.S. In the last few months, 24 candidates have been hired, and 80 more are expected to be placed by the end of this year. The new hires are all in professional positions, including business operations managers, inside salespeople, marketing professionals, financial analysts, accountants, and others.

Daniel Frazee, Head of Próspera Employment Solutions, said:

“Due to the high degree of literacy in Honduras, bilingual skills and the robust pipeline of college graduates entering the employment market, we are finding a great deal of interest among international companies in hiring professional talent in Honduras. This is compelling evidence for the power of the Próspera Platform to attract investment, create jobs and invigorate the Honduran economy.”

Frazee explained that PES offers local and international companies the opportunity to hire trained Honduran professionals in a highly business-friendly environment. Apart from favorable tax and regulatory environment, PES also offers a full suite of supporting services such as onboarding, payroll, benefits and compliance, as well as providing prime office space and co-working facilities in Roatan Próspera development on the island of Roatán off the north coast of Honduras.

Justin Segal, President of Boxer Properties, a real estate company with over 1000 employees and multiple locations across the USA, has recently hired a small team with Roatán Próspera:

“We learned during the pandemic that remote work is a highly viable option for our company, and the opportunity to hire first-rate talent in Honduras with Próspera is easy, efficient and highly attractive.”

Frazee added:

“With the global pandemic, remote work has become routine, and employers are recognizing that there isn’t much difference between teammates working from 25 minutes away or working from a different country or even a different continent. This dynamic presents a unique opportunity for Latin American countries, particularly Honduras with its high literacy rate, bilingual skills and robust pipeline of skilled college graduates entering the labor force.

“We launched PES to help local and international companies access the wealth of talent in Honduras and to facilitate hiring in the uniquely favorable Roatan Próspera environment.”
